April’s Topic: Crime!
On April 5th, a veritable murderer’s row of comedians including Bucky Sinister (SF Sketchfest), Kevin Munroe (Cobb’s) and Clare O’Kane (Edinburgh Fringe Fest) will join James and Trevor in a comedic sojourn into the criminal underworld of vice, corruption, contraband, kidnapping, extortion, arson, larceny, drug dealers, car thieves, con artists, cat burglars and kleptomaniacs. And pretty much whatever else is happening in the Tenderloin right now.
Also featuring musical guests The Creak (melody driven bluegrass) and a special burlesque performance by Rosey Booticelli.

On March 1st, Hand to Mouth will be joined by comedians Lydia Popovich (SF Sketchfest), Cameron Vannini (SXSW), Kelly Anneken (Femikaze), David Hawkins (SF Punchline) and sketch group Comedy Space w/ Ray Molina. Together they will accompany James and Trevor in examining fame, fortune, celebrity worship, cult of personality, tabloid junkies, household names, overnight sensations, one-hit wonders, groupies, sex tapes, book deals, entourages and being “Big in Japan”.
Just added: the hilarious Roman Leo will be joining us from the faraway land of Chicago.

February’s Topic: Jobs!
Comedians Hasan Minhaj, Scott Capurro, Anna Seregina, Levi MacDougall and Vance Sanders will join James and Trevor in discussing minimum wage, merciless managers and all the crappy jobs they’ve had over the years…even though they’re all a bunch of ballers now that don’t even need real jobs anymore because they’re so successful at comedy. :’(
In teaming with SF Sketchfest, Hand to Mouth will not be taking place at its usual venue on 2/8, but will be held at Lost Weekend Video for a special 8:00pm show.

On January 4th, James and Trevor will be joined by DJ Real (music/comedy/art), the Unwatchables (sketch) and stand-up comedians Jesse Elias, George Chen, Neel Nanda and Tushar Singh. Together they will proceed to poke fun at an immeasurably more successful and popular art form than comedy. Take that Jay-Z! No musical genre will be spared from their derision: psychobilly, illbient, psyprog, J-pop, K-pop, JFK-pop, crunkcoustic, pre-post-punk, laptronica, nu-gazer, steamo, pubstep, shartcore and contemporary christian. No sound is safe.
